AGREE: If all the area of Sahara dessert is covered by solar panels, most of the heat will be absorbed and be converted into energy, no heat in the area resulting in no "sand storm". And there will be time when ac and DC current would be transfered long distance wireless and very less energy loss too in the process.

Won't need all of the Sahara, perhaps 10% of the Sahara is needed to meet energy demands. Even if it is 15-20%, that's still more of a region that is hardly used for anything.
